Reliance Jio ‘Welcome Offer’ is now available for all 4G-enabled devices that support VoLTE. You can avail Jio 4G data services for free till December 31, 2017 using company’s SIM card. There’s unlimited HD voice and videos calls, unlimited SMS plus free access to Jio apps such as JioOnDemand, JioBeats, JioPlay, JioMags, JioMoney and more. However, Reliance Jio SIM card isn’t readily available these days, thanks to a huge hype created around the service, which led to high demand. But if you have Aadhaar card, chances are, Jio SIM for you might get activated sooner. The ‘Welcome Offer’ went live on September 5 and will end at the end of this year, giving users an access to free unlimited Jio 4G services for 90 days.
Post ‘Welcome Offer’period, users will be charged for Jio 4G data as per prepaid and postpaid tariffs laid out by the company. Reliance Jio has 10 prepaid data plans that start at Rs 19 for 100MB. Jio postpaid plans start at Rs 149 for 300MB of data. There’s additional free WiFi data, free SMSes that come bundled with these plans. Reliance Jio SIM card can only be bought from a Reliance Digital store or Xpress Mini stores for now. However, reports suggest that Jio SIM card will soon be available at other outlets as well. So, if you don’t have a 4G-enabled handset yet, here are some budget options:

Other specifications of Redmi 3S include a 5-inch HD display, metal unibody design, 1.4Ghz Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor with 3GB RAM and 32GB storage (expandable up to 128GB via microSD slot). It runs MIUI 7 with Android 6 Marshmallow. There’s 13MP rear camera, and a 5MP front camera. The Redmi 3S Prime has a fingerprint scanner on the back.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 is another budget offering from the Chinese smartphone maker, that comes with a big 4,00 mAh battery. It comes in two storage options: 2GB+ 16GB at Rs 9,999 and 3GB+32GB for Rs 11,999. We had noted the smartphone is among the best budget devices. Battery, which can be a pain point at this price is not a problem, the display and sound work fine, the phone has virtually no lag.
