iPhone XR Gets FCC Approval ahead of October 26 launch

Apple has received the approval in time from the FCC to sell the iPhone XR, ahead of the October 19 pre-order sales. With the iPhone XR being certified, it paved way for the release next month.

The iPhone XR utilizes all-screen design just like iPhone X, and it includes a new LCD panel which Apple refers it as “Liquid Retina.” Also the smartphone lacks secondary telephoto lens that are available new Apple series iPhones.


However the iPhone XR includes the same A12 Bionic processor and Face ID up front like the other premium iPhones, iPhone XS and iPhone XS MAX despite the low cost. In addition the Portrait Mode with Depth Control is also possible, while the feature list also adds wireless charging, a notch, Face ID, a glass back.

Apple iPhone XR can be pre-ordered starting October 19, and the devices will be shipped just one week later on October 26. The colorful iPhone XR begins at $749 in the United States.
