HMD Global started sending out invites for a launch on October 11 in India, though the Nokia licensee brand has not revealed the details of smartphone. But it could be the Nokia 7.1 Plus or Nokia X7, that is set for unveiling on October 4 launch event in London, and has already arrived on TENAA.
This is Nokia’s third smartphone in its ‘X’ or ‘Plus’ series after the Nokia 5.1 Plus and Nokia 6.1 Plus, which are launched in Indian markets earlier. The TA-1131 model number has got just approved by the US Federal Communication Commission, paving way for official launch. The FCC listing claimed that the Nokia 7.1 Plus will arrive with 5V/2A charger and basic headphones, but it also stated the battery capacity would be 3,400 mAh, which is the same in TENAA listing.
Coming to specifications, Nokia 7.1 Plus will be powered by a Snapdragon 710 chipset, a 2.2 GHz CPU and the camera setup is identical to the Nokia 7 plus combo – 12 MP + 13 MP, while the front will have a 20 MP selfie camera. The Nokia 7.1 Plus sports a 6.18-inch full-HD+ (1080×2246 pixels) TFT display with an 18.7:9 aspect ratio and packs 4GB/ 6GB RAM, and 64GB/ 128GB of onboard storage.
